I’m working an entry and thinking up words.
\nTo tell you what’s happened in quick little blurbs.
\nI have a new doc, new meds, and less pain.
\nThat would be good, man, if I were still sane.<\/p>\n
Somehow, I can’t do it. The words just won’t come,
\nunless they are rhyming which just isn’t fun.
\nMy daughter’s addicted to one nasty cat.
\nYou know the one. He wears a striped hat.<\/p>\n
His way of speaking is stuck in my brain.
\nI can’t get it out! It’s like tracks and a train.
\nIt’s all coming out with rhythm and rhyme,
\nI fear that the cure is nothing but time.<\/p>\n
This Seuss and these meds are a terrible mix.
\nIt is a conundrum. I don’t know the fix.
\nIf it continues I will tell my new doc,
\nmy system can’t handle two doc’s in one shock.<\/p>\n
For now this is all I can say, I can’t think–
\nHow do I ‘splain THIS mess to my shrink!?!
\nAnd so in the meantime, know that I’m well.
